Rock Bolting Rigs - High Precision Hole Drilling

The continuous tracking of a prism mounted on the feeder frame guarantees highly accurate hole positioning for PE-foam and concrete element installations

A total station is used for navigation of the rig and for tracking the prism mounted on the feeder fixture. Continuous tracking of the prism position gives input directly to on-board positioning software. There is no need for pre-marking of holes, reducing the amount of surveyor work. The hole position accuracy is < 10 mm, and the interval between the calibration of the rig geometry has been increased in this last update.

The system can be delivered as an option to AMV and Normet Essverk bolting rigs equipped with Bever Control rig control systems.
